Distribution of a Controlled Substance

Officers responded on a call of possible drug deals occurring in the park. A suspect description had been provided to dispatch and when officers attempted to contact a male that matched the description he fled on foot. Officers were able to locate Don Washington-Balthazar, 28, hiding in a backyard near the park. Don was in possession of approximately a half pound of marijuana along with a large amount of cash and packaging materials. Don was booked into jail for distribution of a controlled substance.
