8:00 a.m.

Missing Person

717 E. Downington Ave.



Robert Ibarra, 76, had not been seen or heard from by family for some time and they reported him as a missing person. As part of the investigation, Detectives procured a search warrant for his residence at 717 E. Downington Ave. Ibarra was located inside the residence in an advanced state of decomposition.



12:04 p.m.
Bank Robbery
410 E. 400 S.



The suspect entered the bank and told the teller he had a weapon and wanted money. The teller complied and turned over an undisclosed amount of money. The suspect left the bank on foot heading Westbound.


4:06 p.m.
Occupied Stolen Vehicle
700 S. 300 E.


An officer spotted a vehicle that had been listed as stolen. He conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle. Michael Ibarra, 42, was arrested for possession of a stolen vehicle.


5:29 p.m.
Aggravated Assault

999 S. Main Street


Officers responded on a stabbing just occurred. Officers located the victim and he was quickly taken to a local hospital for treatment. The victim was not able at the time to provide much information about what took place but is expected to recover from his injuries.



7:48 p.m.
Traffic Stop
1726 W. North Temple St.



An officer conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle. During the course of the stop officers observed drug paraphernalia in the vehicle. They also located a handgun. The passenger was arrested due to being a restricted person. Mohyadin Ali, 22, was taken to jail for drug paraphernalia and possession of a weapon by a restricted person.
