6:45 a.m.
Aggravated Robbery
50 N. 800 W.

A victim was approached by three males who asked him for money. When the victim refused, one suspect pulled a gun and stole items from the victim. Suspects were two males, black or Polynesian and a female.


7:21 a.m.
Occupied Stolen Vehicle
420 S. 400 W.

An officer observed a stolen vehicle in this area and stopped it. The driver, Siosiua Ositamani, 23, was booked into jail for possession of the stolen vehicle, drugs and paraphernalia. Two other occupants were interviewed and released.


8:37 a.m.
Strong Arm Robbery
800 W. North Temple St.

The victim was with two acquaintances who assaulted him and took money and prescription drugs from him. Both suspects were male white adults.


12:11 p.m.
Strong Arm Robbery
50 S. Main St.

A male threatened a victim and stole a wheelchair from him. Officers located the suspect walking away with the wheelchair. Andrew Hummel, 49, was booked for robbery.


2:32 p.m.
Shots Fired
996 S. Redwood Rd.

Officers responded to this location on reports of shots fired. When they arrived, they could not locate a victim or find witnesses. A shell casing was located at the scene. A short time later, a gunshot wound victim arrived at a local hospital. Officers were unable to interview the victim.


1:33 a.m.
Shooting Investigation
800 W. North Temple St.

A female was dropped off at a local hospital with gunshot wounds. When officers were called, the victim was uncooperative with officers. The only information given by the victim was the shooting occurred near the above address.


1:56 a.m.
Traffic Accident with Injury
320 W. 500 S.

A male was riding a bicycle westbound on 500 S. and weaving in and out of traffic according to witnesses. The male was struck by a westbound vehicle. The male was transported to a local hospital with minor injuries but found to have critical injuries at the hospital.
