A victim called for assistance for an injury. The injury appeared to be a gunshot wound, but the victim said that he had fallen on rebar. Witnesses on scene stated there was an argument between the victim and several Polynesian males and heard what sounded like a gunshot. Victim was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injury. Investigators recovered a shell casing on scene.

A juvenile victim arrived at a local hospital outside the city in critical condition. WVCPD advised SLCPD of the gunshot victim and the location of the scene in the city. Officers responded to the location above and recovered evidence indicating a shooting had occurred. The victim was transported to a local hospital in the city and upgraded to serious but stable condition.
