Traffic Accident
830 N. 300 W.

A vehicle travelling north on 300 W. suddenly veered left and struck the center media. The vehicle then swerved right, left the road and struck a tree. The driver, a 48-year-old male, was transported to a local hospital where he later died. The investigation is continuing.

Narcotics Arrest/Resisting
40 N. 800 W.

An officer observed a male conduct a drug deal. When the officer approached the male ran. Officers caught the male quickly who then resisted. The male suffered minor injuries and was treated by medical personnel at the scene. He was transported to jail but was not accepted due to a cut on his face. The male declined transportation to a hospital and was released. Charges will be screened.

Foot Pursuit
1714 W. Featherstone Cir.

Officers responded on a report of a male selling drugs. When they arrived Jason Tran, 26, immediately ran. After a short foot pursuit Tran was found hiding behind a house. Tran was booked into jail for a warrant as well as failure to stop and interfering.

Shots Fired
90 E. 600 S.
20-149136

Officers responded to a shots fired call at this address. Witnesses indicated there was an argument in an alleyway. One of the involved parties left and returned with a gun and fired into the air, then all parties fled. Shell casings were located on scene, no victims were located.
