Officers were in the area of the above address. They observed a drug transaction. When officers attempted to make contact, one of the parties fled. Officers were able to detain him a short distance away. Officers found that both parties had large quantities of drugs and cash on their persons. Kailee Boone, 22, and Jacob Smith, 33, were arrested for distribution.

Unwanted Person
215 S. West Temple St.

Officers responded on an unwanted person at the above address. The individual had given identification to officers but agreed to leave. When officers found that the identity given was false, they attempted to contact the person again. At this time the person fled but was captured by officers a short distance later. Lynn Katoa, 31, was booked into jail for false information, trespass and failure to stop at command of an officer.

Stabbing
109 S. 300 E.

Officers responded to screaming at this location. They located a male that had been stabbed. Officers got suspect information from store surveillance. From that, officers were able to locate the suspect near the location. Hinegano Taueva, 32, was booked for aggravated robbery, aggravated assault and possession of a controlled substance. The victim was transported to a local hospital in critical condition.
