Traffic Stop/Resisting Arrest
615 N. 900 W.

Officers observed a male on a motorcycle commit a traffic violation and attempted to stop him. The male fled and was not pursued. A short time later officers saw the same male and found he had abandoned the motorcycle and was running through yards. As officers approached the male, he threw an object, later found to be a gun. Officers attempted to take the male into custody, but he resisted. The male was eventually placed in handcuffs. He was found to have an outstanding warrant for his arrest. Justin Kughler, 40, was booked into jail on the outstanding warrant.
