5:20 p.m.
DUI, Hit and Run
1300 S. Main St.

A witness stated that he heard a possible gunshot during a road rage incident from a nearby vehicle. The vehicle matched the description of one suspected for a Hit and Run earlier in the day. An officer in an unmarked car located the vehicle going southbound on I-15. The officer followed the  vehicle until other marked units were able to assist in a traffic stop. The driver taken into custody after the stop. Benjamin Lopez, 31, was booked into Jail for DUI and hit and run. Officers were unable to locate a victim for the possible shooting or any evidence of a shooting.

Traffic Accident
2100 S. Main St.

A witness observed a vehicle suddenly turn onto the sidewalk and strike a light pole causing the vehicle to roll onto its side. The driver was transported to an area hospital in critical condition.
