A male made repeated calls to 911 throughout the day. After multiple calls the male began to destroy his motel room causing management of the motel to call police. When officers arrived, the male barricaded the door with items and refused to exit. Officers negotiated with him for some time until a Mobile Crisis Outreach Team (MCOT) responded. The MCOT team attempted to negotiate with the male but was unsuccessful. Officers eventually forced entry into the room and took the male into custody without incident. He was taken to a local hospital.
