Stolen Vehicle

An officer observed an occupied stolen vehicle in the parking lot of the African Market. Other officers took the driver into custody. Officers determined the male had been trying to buy the vehicle from a female. The investigation lead to the arrest of Emele Tuaolo, 26, who was booked into jail for theft warrants.

Abandoned Children

A woman asked an acquaintance to watch her two children for the day. At approximately 10:45 p.m. the acquaintance took the children to Costco and left them there without telling their mother. Witnesses called to report the children had been left there with no supervision. Officers responded and reunited the children with their mother. The acquaintance has not been located.
