12:30 p.m.

Occupied Stolen Vehicle
100 S. 300 E.


An officer noticed a vehicle being pushed into a gas station. He ran the license plate and discovered the vehicle had been reported stolen. He attempted to stop the person that had been driving the vehicle, but he fled on foot. After a short foot pursuit, the male was taken into custody. James Mear, 21, was booked into jail for felony theft as well as outstanding warrants.


4:11 p.m.

Hit and Run/Stolen Vehicle
California Ave Redwood Rd


A vehicle travelling south on Redwood Road ran the red light at California avenue and struck the victim vehicle. The suspect driver fled on foot but was taken into custody by an off-duty Sheriff’s deputy. During the investigation officers found a stolen handgun in the suspect vehicle and learned the vehicle itself was stolen. Zackary Seaman, 21, was booked into jail for hit and run, felony theft, possession of a firearm by a restricted person and traffic violations.


5:42 p.m.

Fatal Auto Pedestrian Accident

Simpson Avenue & Highland Drive



The victim was cross the street in a crosswalk when a driver making a turn struck her. The victim was taken to a local hospital where she died from her injuries. The investigation is ongoing.

9:20 p.m.

Shots Fired

839 N. Sir Michael Dr.



Officers responded to a report of shots fired. A shell casing was located and one building had damage. No injuries were reported. The suspect vehicle is possibly a tan sedan.
