A female suspect assaulted the victim by hitting her in the face and knocking her glasses on the ground. The suspect then stole the glasses and fled the scene. Officers responded, located the suspect and recovered the glasses. The suspect, Alice Ortiz, 50, was arrested and booked into jail for robbery, and resisting arrest.
2010 S. 900 E.
Officers responded to an incident that occurred in the parking lot. The victim was involved in an altercation with the suspect and fled on foot. The suspect chased the victim with his vehicle and hit him with the vehicle. The victim was transported to a local hospital in critical condition. The suspect was located and identified as Larry Blackshire, 24. Blackshire was booked into jail for attempted murder, DUI, failure to stop at command of law enforcement, and open container.

Officers responded to reports of shots fired from a balcony. Officers observed a firearm propped on a balcony. The officers contacted and arrested the only occupant of the apartment. He was identified as Derrick Sanchez, 39. Derrick was booked into jail for discharging a firearm in city limits, possession of a firearm while intoxicated and intoxication.
