The victim was at the park with her dog and fell asleep, her dog ran off. A person found the dog and returned it. Shortly after a male approached the victim claiming that the victims dog attacked his dogs. At that point one of the male’s dogs attacked the victim’s dog, the male then produced a knife and began stabbing the victim’s dog. During this altercation or when she was caring for her injured dog the victim’s purse and belongings were stolen. The male had fled the area, he has not been identified but officers are following up on possible leads. Animal control was notified as well.

An officer saw a vehicle commit a traffic violation and pulled the vehicle over. The officer noticed that the passenger was a person of interest in several burglaries. All of the occupants of the car were detained. A warrant was written for the vehicle when a rifle was seen on the floor behind the driver’s seat. The suspect was a juvenile and was booked into detention.
