SLCPD Requesting Assistance Finding Missing Person

SALT LAKE CITY — The Salt Lake City Police Department is requesting the public’s help finding 27-year-old Ashley Nicole Cady.

Ashley is described as a white female, 5’05” tall, 175 pounds, with brown eyes and blonde hair.

This investigation started at approximately 3 p.m. on Friday July 22, 2022.

A family member of Ashley’s called SLCPD and reported Ashley as missing. Ashley’s family gave police information about her medical history and expressed concern for her mental health.

Her family explained that in the past, Ashley traveled throughout the state without telling them her whereabouts.

A family member last heard from Ashley several days prior to her being reported missing.

Ashley is listed as a missing person in the National Crime Information Center (NCIC), which is a computerized index of missing persons and criminal information and is designed for the rapid exchange of information between criminal justice agencies.

This remains an ongoing investigation.

SLCPD detectives would like to speak with anyone who has information on Ashley’s current whereabouts. People with information should call 9-1-1 or 801-799-3000 and reference the name “Ashley Cady” immediately.

No further information on this case is being released. Neither the PIO nor the On-Duty Watch Commander are available for interviews.
